| Sunday School/ Children Church The Children Church is divided into 11 classes starting from the preschool children up to 20 years teens. The classes were named according to the bible precious stones, Emerald, Chrysolite, Beryl, Sardius, Jacinth, Topaz, Sapphire, Jasper & Chrysoprase. Along with the increasing numbers of the church, the Sunday School are also growing. In 2002, a new building was built to accommodate the Sunday school activities and Youth Service. |

CCA BRIEF HISTORY Koor Gabungan Bp Ibu & Muda/i
Church Of Christian Assembly began on 5 th January 1976, when a group of seven believers gathered for prayer in the house of Elder Rulhana Tanzil in Medan. During that time, Elder Rulhana Tanzil is a simple house wife that suffer from a serious blood disease, who decided to dedicate her last 3 months life as judged by her doctors, to serve the Lord.
Her commitment was that, if the Lord gives her one day to live, she will use the day given to serve the Lord. It has been 33 years from the day she was judged by the doctors and she lives until today serving the Lord faithfully.
The above group of believers was active in evangelism. This was the moment where the new seeds were sown and many unbelievers received the salvation from God. By August 1977, their numbers had increased. They had weekly meeting on Sunday afternoon at 4.00pm and they named it "Sunday Prayer Service".
The blessing of the Lord Jesus Christ was upon this group of believers and their numbers continued to increase. In August 1978 they named themselves "Medan Christian Assembly" (Yayasan Persekutuan Kristen Medan). They were then active in their weekly Bible Study, Sunday School and Youth Meeting.The Lord Jesus continued to add to the Assembly those who were saved as they ploughing and cultivating in the field of God. Later in 1985, this church were named as "Church of Christian Assembly" or with the abbreviation "CCA" (Gereja Persekutuan Kristen).
Due to the increase in attendance, from 1977 to 1995 the church had moved the Sunday services to eleven different locations before settling at the permanent location at Jalan Gunung Krakatau No 35, Medan. And by God's grace, the congregation continue to increase and now the Church has four services every Sunday.
Today, we can harvest and enjoy the fruits of labour 33 years ago. No one has ever thought that God has such a great plan for His church 33 years ago.
His plans never fail, neither His steadfast...
